How We Help
Stillwell Athens is a group therapy practice offering collaborative, whole-person mental health care for adults, couples, and families. Our services include individual, group, and couples therapy, academic and executive functioning coaching, and art and expressive therapies that support insight, emotional regulation, and creative self-expression.
We believe each person already carries the capacity for growth and healing. Through relational, evidence-based care and experiential approaches, we help clients access their strengths, navigate life transitions, and build sustainable skills without putting their lives, education, or careers on hold.
family therapy
Collaborative counseling that helps families improve communication, resolve conflict, and strengthen relationships in a supportive setting.
art therapy
A creative approach that uses art-making to explore emotions, reduce stress, and enhance self-awareness—no artistic experience needed.
Looking for more support?
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured, relational, whole-person care for adults who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy, but do not require inpatient or residential treatment. IOP offers consistency, accountability, and community while allowing participants to remain engaged in their work, education, relationships, and daily lives.
IOP offers deeper support while allowing you to stay engaged in your daily life through structured group therapy, individual care, and a strong sense of community.
